South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have officially signed on for two more seasons running through next year. In a recent interview with IGN, Stone and Parker admitted they haven’t considered ending it anytime soon. When asked if they had anything in mind for a series finale, this is what they had to say:

“I think it’s going to end with a fizzle, for sure,” Parker said with a laugh. “I think it’s just going to end with some dud, and we’re gonna go, ‘F*** this, man,’ and walk away.”

Stone agreed, “Some sort of whimper. Either drop the mic, get sued, get thrown off television — something like that.”

“Yeah, we’ve thought that for 18 years,” Parker continued. “We’re like, ‘Okay, well, they’re going to cancel us, for sure!’ We’ve been waiting to get canceled for 18 f***ing years.”
